  • John Speer, III, President & Chief Executive Officer

    John Speer is president and chief executive officer of Datatel+SGHE. Previously Mr. Speer was president and chief executive of Datatel, Inc. since August 2006. He has more than 28 years of experience in the higher education technology community, personally helping hundreds of colleges and universities manage change through the implementation of advanced information management systems. In 2010, Mr. Speer was recognized by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year for Greater Washington. He has also provided technology strategic planning for reaffirmation visiting committees for the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).  

  • Kevin Boyce, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

    As senior vice president and chief financial officer for Datatel+SGHE, Kevin M. Boyce oversees the company’s global operations in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Information Technology, Human Resources and Corporate Development. He also plays a senior role in its strategic growth initiatives. In 2010, the Northern Virginia Technology Council named Mr. Boyce the Private Company CFO of the Year for the Washington D.C. area.  

  • Michelle Reed, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer

    As senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Datatel+SGHE, Michelle Reed is responsible for marketing operations across a global higher education community. Ms. Reed leads a team dedicated to strategic marketing, branding, market research, and public relations, working closely with product management, and customer and partner relationships to serve our clients’ needs and earn recognition for Datatel+SGHE’s offerings worldwide.

     

      

  • Mark Jones, Senior Vice President & Chief Product Officer

    As senior vice president and chief product officer for Datatel+SGHE, Mark Jones is responsible for ensuring that the company’s current product offerings meet and exceed our customers’ expectations, and that future products create even greater value on the basis of evolving requirements within the higher education market. Previously Mr. Jones served as chief client officer for Datatel, Inc. having joined the company in September 2010, bringing over 20 years of higher education software experience spanning both administrative and academic technology.  

  • Mike Wallesen, Senior Vice President & Chief Services Officer

    As senior vice president and chief services officer, Mike Wallesen is responsible for all Datatel+SGHE services and support. Mr. Wallesen’s teams provide services to maximize operational efficiencies, enhance communication and collaboration, and facilitate learning at colleges and universities around the world. 

      

  • Darren Wesemann, Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

    As senior vice president and chief technology officer for Datatel+SGHE, Darren Wesemann is responsible for creating and leading the company’s technology vision, strategy, direction and delivery globally.  

  • Bruce Bleiman, Senior Vice President – North America Customer Relationships

    As senior vice president of North America customer relationships for Datatel+SGHE, Bruce Bleiman leads our North America team focused on developing and managing successful relationships with new and existing customers. The team works closely with customers to identify their needs, determine the solutions that help them meet their goals, and supports them as a partner. 

      

  • Jonathan Garnett, Senior Vice President - EMEAI/Asia Pacific Customer Relationships

    Jonathan Garnett is responsible for driving Datatel+SGHE’s international growth and customer satisfaction throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, and Asia Pacific regions.  

  • Jorge Green, Senior Vice President – Latin America/Caribbean Customer Relationships

    Jorge Green is responsible for Datatel+SGHE’s growing operations in the Latin America & Caribbean region. In this capacity, he leads customer relationship and services delivery teams to support customer success in this important region.

      

  • Jack Kramer, Senior Vice President – Customer Perspective

    Jack Kramer is senior vice president, customer perspective, and is responsible for making sure Datatel+SGHE’s customers experience the highest levels of satisfaction with the products and services we deliver and for identifying and implementing improvements that will bring additional value to our customers.  

      

  • Dr. Bill Graves, Senior Vice President – Academic Strategy

    Dr. William H. Graves provides guidance for Datatel+SGHE’s ongoing initiatives to support and advance clients’ core academic missions. He has long believed postsecondary educational attainment to be a “common good” essential to humanity’s future, yet unsustainable without using IT as a game changer to scale up credential “completions,” while also making them mutually affordable to all beneficiaries. Bill’s numerous publications and presentations accordingly foresee an academic enterprise more open, scalable, and broadly affordable than today’s.  

  • Barbara Polk, Senior Vice President - Human Resources & Administration

    As Datatel+SGHE’s senior vice president of human resources and administration, Barbara Polk implements and monitors human resources programs and policies to ensure that they align with the company’s strategic objectives and establish positive employee-employer relationships. She also oversees employee relations, internal communications, corporate learning, recruiting, compensation, benefits, administrative services, facilities, and corporate programs. 

      

  • Toby Williams, Senior Vice President – Corporate Development

    As senior vice president of corporate development, Toby Williams leads Datatel+SGHE’s corporate and business development initiatives focused on both partnerships and acquisitions.   

  • Jim Bennett, Senior Vice President & General Counsel

    As senior vice president and general counsel for Datatel+SGHE, Jim Bennett is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company and in so doing, works closely with public and private universities around the world.
